Jeffrey M. Holden

Jeffrey M. Holden is a health-care data and business-intelligence professional with more than three decades of experience designing, building, and governing data systems for hospitals, health plans, universities, and consulting clients. As Board President he has provided the vision, leadership, and decision-making to build an integrated, web-based fundraising operation — customer-relationship management (CRM), website, QuickBooks accounting, and banking — and the Foundation now operates an online store, manages two websites, administers the project's Moosewatch citizen-science program, and runs multiple fundraising efforts. Under his leadership the Foundation raised more than $650,000 in its first twenty-four months of operation.
• Wilderness Volunteers — Board Member. Serves on the board of Wilderness Volunteers, a national nonprofit founded in 1997 that organizes volunteer stewardship projects on America's public lands in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

• Optum — Consulting Manager, Analytics & Insights (2022–2024). Designed and architected an enterprise data mart for an academic medical center and authored its supporting data-governance documentation.
• University of Michigan (Michigan Medicine) — Strategist (2019–2022). Supported strategic planning and analytics on the University's enterprise data warehouse.
• Henry Ford Allegiance Health — Manager, Performance Analytics / Business Intelligence (2008–2019). Led a nine-person analytics team and served as data architect for the health system's business-intelligence systems.
• Earlier roles include data-warehouse development and regression-based forecasting at the M-CARE health plan, senior planning and modeling at Mercy Health Services, and the co-founding of two Michigan technology firms.
